About the EarthMuseum Group

Scaling Global Impact Through Storytelling

Our vision is for a world where shared human understanding and global equity are driven by stories deeply connected to their places of origin.

Our mission is to build an interactive platform that honours the human instinct of storytelling, by anchoring digital narratives to their true geographical homes. Through this scalable technology we empower schools, inspire creators and build deeply connected global communities.

Our core values are:

  • Rooted: We honour the deep time and complex geography of the Earth. Our work is grounded in heritage and authentic local voices.
  • Agile: Like the Gecko, we move lightly and adapt quickly. We bridge the natural and cultural worlds with seamless technology.
  • Equitable: We believe every place has a story and every story deserves its place. We democratise access to global heritage for learners everywhere.
  • Collaborative: We build ecosystems where communities can share, learn and grow together.

Our Brand Mascot: The Gecko

In a slip of sun-warmed rock, on an island older than memory, a gecko wakes. She is small and no heavier than a whisper. Beneath her skin lives a lineage that stretches further back than mountains, further than forests and further than the names humans have given time.

Her toes unfurl against stone shaped by vanished seas. Each surface holds stories pressed into it long before she came and long before anything that looked like her existed. Across continents and centuries humans have sensed something of her quiet antiquity. In desert villages, island homes and forest edges geckos slip through stories as easily as they move across walls. Geckos are omens, guardians and messengers of luck or change.

Our gecko lives not only in the deep time of the Earth but in the shared imagination of people who have glimpsed the mystery she carries.

Her footprint serves as our main logo icon, acting as a constant reminder that every story leaves a mark on the Earth. We use colours and textures that ground ourselves in her ancient history. We place the gecko alongside diverse global imagery, ranging from island landscapes to desert villages, to show she transcends physical borders. We position the gecko visually bridging natural elements like leaves with cultural items like ancient pottery to represent the connection between the Earth and human heritage.
